'Dragon Ball' Animator Shares New Vegeta and Jiren Artwork

Dragon Ball Super came back last weekend with a brand-new episode, but fans aren’t ready to get over the release just yet. The fiery comeback saw Vegeta and Jiren fight one-on-one for the first time, and the battle just got a very special shoutout on Twitter. Taking to social media, one of Dragon Ball Super ’s favorite animators posted artwork of the two fighters. Yuya Takahashi shared two simple sketches he did of Vegeta and Jiren as a way to amp fans for the duo’s epic clash. As you can see below, the sketches aren’t quite as ornate as what Takahashi does with his animation reels. To the left, Vegeta can be seen sketched with simple line art that emphasizes his buff chest. Dragon Ball Super made a triumphant return tonight by sharing its first episode of 2018. The comeback pitted Vegeta against Jiren in a high-stakes battle, so fans pretty much forgot that a new ending was slated to debut tonight. However, the ending’s final shot quickly reminded them of the arrival. After all, it may have hinted at Vegeta going Ultra Instinct. The new ending may not sit well with every fan, but it does have Vegeta stans on the edge. The time has almost come for Dragon Ball Super ’s return. After a short holiday hiatus, the anime will debut a new episode tonight, and fans know it will pack a punch. A set of episode stills for tonight’s comeback just went live, and they are getting fans hyped. Over on Twitter, the official page for Dragon Ball Super gave fans some final spoilers for episode 122. The images, which can be found below, highlight the biggest stars remaining in the Tournament of Power. The first still is drawing the most buzz online. The image shows Vegeta charging a yellow energy blast in his hands, and fans cannot miss the fact that he’s in his Super Saiyan Blue form. The Tournament of Power is down to two universes, and fans want to know how the event will pan out from here. Luckily, the anime has given audiences a hint about its final battles, and there are a few things fans should know.
